Winker Watson  served with 15 Para from 1976-79 and was awarded French jump wings.

He went on to join the regulars passing through the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Depot in Platoon 456 and subsequently served in No 3 Platoon A Company, 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment.

Winker Watson is a long standing friend of mine and of the family. He's a man who loves a laugh and and a joke. He can pull a laugh out of the bag in the most testing of times, just like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat. A great all round bloke and natural joker who kept the crack going, and still does.
