Warrant Officer Class 2 William W Scott

Company Sergeant Major William Ward Scott was the son of Ward and Amy Scott, and husband of Ruby Joan Scott, of Honicknowle, Plymouth. He served with 2nd Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died in the Battle between 21-25 September 1944, aged 29 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
