Sergeant Eric L Dobbs

Eric L Dobbs volunteered for the airborne forces from The Durham Light Infantry on 7 December 1944. 

He was successfully parachute jump trained at RAF Ringway on Course 147. This course ran between 30 December 1944 and 21 January 1945. His instructor noted this about his performance on this course:

"Good jumper, very keen, confident and hard worker".

He went on to serve in Norway and Palestine before leaving the Army 9 October 1947.
