Private Albert Heron, son of George William and Sarah Jane Heron, served with 2nd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.
Private Heron died on 30 November 1942, aged 27 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
