Private William James Greenwood served with the Medium Machine Platoon, Support Company of 156 Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
Private Greenwood died during the Battle between 25-6 September 1944, aged 29 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
