Corporal William Henry Locke was the son of William Henry and Florence Locke, of Street, Somerset, and husband of Mary Peace Locke, also of Street. He served with 4th Parachute Battalion and took part in the Italian campaign.
Corporal Locke died on 29 November 1944, aged 30 years old. He is now buried at Rome War Cemetery, Italy.
