Private Thomas Peter George Grogan was born in 1917 to Thomas and Daisy Grogan of Wathamstowm, Essex.
Private Grogan volunteered for The Parachute Regiment and successfully completed his parachute training at Ringway on 11 December 1942. He was then posted to the 4th Battalion, Parachute Regiment and took part in the Italian Campaign.
He died on 16 May 1944, aged 27 years old. He is now buried at Cassino War Cemetery, Italy.
