Private Thomas G Lonsdale

Private Thomas Gordon Lonsdale, son of Frederick Ernest and Violet Lonsdale, of Hull, served with 12th (Yorks) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the D-Day landings during the Normandy campaign, during Op Overlord.

Private Lonsdale died on 6 June 1944, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
