Sapper Thomas Cunningham

Sapper Thomas Cunningham, son of Robert Watt and Elisabeth Cunningham, of Possilpark, Glasgow, served with 4th Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers. He parachuted into the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 24 September 1944, aged 30 years old. He is now commemorated at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
