Corporal Thomas Bunker

31 May 1943

Corporal Thomas Bunker, son of Henry and Isabella Bunker, of Hetton-le-Hole, Durham, intially served with 14th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry, before transferring to 4th Parachute Battalion in early 1942.

He died in the UK, possibly after being wounded in North Africa, on 31 May 1943, aged 31 years old. He is now buried at Hetton Cemetery, Durham.
