Lance Corporal Terry Guildford

Terry Guildford enlisted at Newport in August 1974 and joined the Junior Parachute Company at Browning Barracks, Aldershot in September that year.

After finishing with the Junior Parachute Coy, he undertook P Coy with 421 Platoon in November 1975. After completion of parachute training at RAF Abingdon Terry Guildford passed out of Depot Para on 12 March 1976. He was then posted to B Coy 3 PARA.

L/Cpl Guildford was discharged in 1987 as a result of a parachute accident in March 1985 while carrying out a display at Wembley stadium with the Red Devils.
