Private Terence A Gillott

{ Gilly }

28 Aug 1956

Pte Terence Arthur Gillott, known to friends as 'Gilly', served with 3" Mortar Platoon, 1st Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (1 PARA) and took part in the EOKA campaign, in Cyprus.

He died on a training run in 1956, after being recalled prior to the Suez invasion. He is now buried at Waynes Keep Cemetery, Cyprus.
