Private Stanley Haigh, son of Fred and Frances E Haigh, of Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire, served with 13th (South Lancs) Parachute Battalion, and took part in the Allied response to the Ardennes offensive in the winter of 1944-5.
Private Haigh died on 3 January 1945, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Hotton War Cemetery, Luxembourg.
