Private Stanley Douglas Biggs

Private Stanley Douglas Biggs was the son of George and Lilian Biggs, of Walworth, London, and husband of Florence Irene Biggs, also of Walworth. He served with 181 Airlanding Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps.

He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden and died on 25 September 1944, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
