Simon Elsey completed his basic training with 676 'Normandy' Platoon.
He subsequently served with 2 Platoon, A Company, 1 PARA and then Mortar Platoon, Support Company, 1 PARA.
Simon Elsey also served in 1 PARA after it was re-roled to form part of Special Forces Support Group (SFSG).
