Corporal Russell William Nurse

Joined 3 Coy - 10 Para Jun 1980, awarded best parachutist on course, several overseas camps, mostly Germany, but also Denmark, left 1986 and joined Royal Engineers, then returned to 10 Para with Sigs Plt, and served until 1992 before joining RMP.  With RMP until 2003 when joined Military Provost Staff Corps, (the guys who man Colchester - Military Correction and Training Centre - The Glass House) and served in Iraq with them, manning the British Detention Centre ar Basra Airport. Joined the RAF Police 2006 and went back to Iraq with them. Currently still serving at age 61!
