Ronald Alfred Stark, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Stark, of Welling, Kent, enlisted into the Royal West Kent Regiment and then volunteered for the airborne forces.
Private Stark attended parachute course 36 at RAF Ringway from 6 to 12 November 1942 and was posted to 2nd Parachute Battalion and took part in Operation Torch in North Africa.
Pte Stark was Killed in Action on 29 March 1943, agd 19. He is commemorated on the Medjez-El-Bab memorial.
