Private Ronald Howe

Private Ronald Howe was the son of Leonard and Annie Howe, and husband of Lily Howe, of Thackley, Yorkshire. He served with 12th (Yorks) Parachute Battalion and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy, during Op Overlord.

Private Howe died on 6 June 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Herouvillette New Communal Cemetery, Herouvillette, near Caen, Normandy.
