Private Ronald Astley

Private Ronald Astley, son of William Thomas and Alice Astley, of Baldock, Herfordshire, served with 2nd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign as part of 1st Army, during Op Torch.

Private Astley died on 30 November 1942, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Enfidaville War Cemetery, Tunisia.
