Private Robert Harding, son of Robert and Jane Margaret Harding, of Gasstown, Dumfriesshire, served with 6th (Royal Welch) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Greek campaign, during Op Manna.
Private Harding died on 4 January 1945, aged 29 years old. He is now buried at Phaleron War Cemetery, Greece.
