Private Robert Elcock served with 7th (Airborne) Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers and took part in the Battle of Arnhem during Op Market Garden.
He died on 18 September 1944, aged 28 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
