Private Robert Brown

Private Robert Brown, son of Richard and Agnes Nairn Brown, served with 6 Platoon, B Company of 7th (Airborne) Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers on the No 1 Bren Gun. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Private Brown died on 19 September 1944, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
