Corporal Richard R Scott

Richard Robert Scott, son of Joseph Richard and Isabella Scott, enlisted in the Cameron Highlanders and then volunteered for the airborne forces.

Corporal Scott attended parachute course 10 at RAF Ringway from 16 to 27 March 1942 and was posted to B Company, the 2nd Parachute  Battalion and took part in Operation Torch in North Africa.

Cpl Scott was Killed in Action on 30 November 1942, aged 23. He is commemorated on the Medjez-El-Bab memorial.
