Corporal Reginald S Naylor

Reginald Stanley Naylor was the son of William Edwin and Eleanor Alice Naylor; husband of Marjorie Elsie Naylor, of St John’s Worcester, he enlisted in the Royal Army Service Corps and volunteered for airborne forces.

Corporal Naylor successfully completed parachute training at RAF Ringway and was posted to Royal Army Service Corps, attached to H.Q. 6th Airborne Division and took part in Operation Overlord (Normandy).

Cpl Naylor was killed in action on 21 June 1944, age 26, and was buried in Ranville War Cemetery, Calvados, France.
