Private Reginald Hopkins

24 Mar 1945

Private Reginald Hopkins, son of Samuel and Emma Hopkins, of Chell Heath, Staffordshire, served with 8th (Midlands) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.

Private Hopkins died on 24 March 1945, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.

Reginald is commemorated in Newchapel (St. James) Churchyard, Stoke on Trent.
