Rifleman Reginald H J Prosser

Reginald Henry James Prosser was the son of Henry and Florence Prosser, of Southall, Middlesex. He enlisted in the Royal Ulster Rifles and volunteered for airborne forces.

Rifleman Prosser successfully completed parachute training at RAF Ringway and also completed glider training. He was posted to 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Royal Ulster Rifles and took part in Operation Overlord (Normandy Landings).

Rfn Prosser was killed in action on 9 June 1944, aged 21, and is commemorated on the Bayeux Memorial to the missing.
