Private Philip James Green, son of Frank and Mary Green, of Ladywood, Birmingham, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died between 17-18 September 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
