Philip John Daw enlisted into Junior Parachute Company (JPC) at Aldershot in Blackheath, April 1976.
Private Daw Passed Out of P Company (Coy) with 436 Platoon in September 1977 and was posted to The 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (3 PARA) in Osnabruck, Germany.
Private Daw served with 3 PARA until October 1980, having served two tours on Operation Banner (Northern Ireland).
