Sapper Philip Dominey

Philip Dominey was born and lived in Dorset, he enlisted in the Northumberland Fusiliers and volunteered for airborne forces.

Sapper Dominey successfully completed Glider training and was posted 1st Airborne Squadron (Royal Engineers).

Spr Dominey took part in Operation Doomsday. He died on 25 June 1945, aged 29, and is buried in Bergen (Mollendal) Church Cemetery, Norway.
