Private Peter Kenneth Hodgson, son of James Whitfield Hodgson and Dorothy Hodgson, of South Woodford, Essex, originally enlisted with The Buffs (East Kent Regiment), before transferring to 9th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Allied response to the Ardennes offensive during Winter 1944-5.
Private Hodgson died on 28 January 1945, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Limburg.
