Captain Percy Albert Taylor

Captain Percy Albert Taylor was the son of C H and Beatrice Annie Taylor, of East Kirby, Notts, and husband of Nancy Taylor, of Wrentham, Suffolk. He served with 1st Airlanding Light Regiment, Royal Artillery.

He took part in the glider insertion at the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden. He died on 24 September 1944, aged 31 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery.
