Sergeant Norman J Ranger

Sergeant Norman John Ranger, son of John Arthur and Ethel Millicent Ranger, of Winton, Bournemouth, Hampshire, served with 2nd Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 24 September 1944, aged 28 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
