Noel Benjamin Wilkins was born in Llanelly, Wales.
After volunteering for airborne forces, Gunner Wilkins served with the 33rd Airborne Light Regiment Royal Artillery in Palestine.
He was killed when his train was bombed just north of Rehoboth on 29 February 1948. He is now buried in Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel.
