Michael Skerratt served with the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys) and volunteered for service with The Parachute Squadron, Royal Armoured Corps between 1972 and 1976 and was promoted from the rank of Tpr to L/Cpl during that time.
Michael Skerratt retired from the Army as a Staff Sergeant.
