Served with 1 PARA as Coy Comd; 3 PARA (OC) A Coy 1984-85; 2i/c 2 PARA 1988-89.
Attended Staff College 1982-83. Served with BMATT Zimbabwe; Australian Land Warfare Centre 1990-93; UN HQ New York 1995-98; French Infantry School 1999-2003; UKREP Brussels 2003-05.
2015 Retired from the position of Sales and Marketing Director WFEL, tactical military bridge manufacturers, in Stockport.
2017 - to date - Chairman RBL Birchington-on-Sea and a Parish Councillor
