Private Martin H Leppard

Private Martin Hartley Leppard was a member of Recruit Company, PARA Depot.

20 year old Pte Leppard tragically died after being fatally injured when he fell from the trainasium on 23 February 1985.

Pte Leppard is buried at St Mary Magdalen's Church Badminton.

On 23 February Recruit Company and the Regiment suffered a sad loss. Pte Martin Leppard fell off and fatally injured himself whilst undergoing training on the cat walk of the trainasium. He was a keen recruit who always tried hard at everything he did and we share with his parents their grief over their very sad loss. We are also grateful to them for allowing us to provide a bearer party and bugler at his burial and we thank them for their kindness and understanding.
