Trooper Leslie Mumford, son of Thomas and Ellen Mumford, of Leicester, served with 1st Airborne Recce Squadron, Reconnaissance Corps.
Trooper Mumford died in the UK on 20 June 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Gilroes Cemetery, Leicester.
