Leslie Cousins was the son of Edmund Leslie and Martha Cousins, of Pleasley, Nottinghamshire.
Lance Bombardier Cousins successfully completed his parachute training on 14 November 1945. It was noted that L/Bdr Cousins had "Morale good. Good bearing"
He was then posted to 2 (Airborne) Forward Observation Unit, Royal Artillery (2 FOU) and served in Palestine.
L/Bdr Cousins died on the 14 July 1946 and is now buried in Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel.
