Private Leonard Webb was the son of William and Beatrice Webb, of Eastwood, and husband of Mollie Eileen Webb, of Westcliffe-on-Sea. He served with 9th (Essex) Parachute Battalion.
Private Webb died in the UK after a parachuting accident on 8 April 1943, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at St Laurence and All Saints Churchyard, Eastwood, Essex.
