Private Leonard Morris

Leonard Morris was the son of Alfred and Edith Morris, of Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire.

Private Morris successfully completed his parachute training at Ringway on 17 July 1944. It was noted that Morris "Worked hard and should be a good jumper"

Pte Morris was then posted to the 13th Battalion, The Parachute Regiment where he served in Ardennes.

He died on the 3 January 1945 and is buried at Hotton War Cemetery, Belgium.
