Kieran S J Diamond enlisted into The Royal Artillery in November 1979. On completion of his basic training at Woolwich RA Depot in May 1980 he was posted to 7th Field Regiment RHA in Osnabrück Germany.
His regiment returned to Aldershot in 1983 and took up their previous airborne role. Pte Diamond completed his parachute training in March 1984 and served with G (Mercer's Troop) Parachute Battery, 7th Parachute Regiment RHA.
Sgt Diamond left in January 1992.
