Private Josiah Woodrow

Private Josiah Woodrow, son of George Edward and Margaret Ann Woodrow, of North Ormesby, Middlesborough, Yorkshire, served with 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 23 September 1944, aged 29 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
