Private Joseph Peck

Private Joseph Peck, son of Charles and Elizabeth Peck, of Rudheath, Cheshire, served with 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Border Regiment. He took part in the glider insertion to the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 24 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery.
