Lance Corporal John Pringle

Lance Corporal John Pringle, son of John and Robina Pringle, of Closeburn, Dumfriesshire, served with 7th (Airborne) Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died on 21 September 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
