John Nott served in Airborne Forces as an officer in the Territorial Army in the 1960s with 289th Parachute Light Regt, RHA(TA).
John Andrew Nott initially joined 289 Para Regt RHA in 1961, serving with P Battery at Chingford.
He was commissioned in January 1963 and rose to become an Acting Captain during his service.
