Private Joe T Lanigan

Private Joseph Thomas Lanigan was the son of Thomas John and Rachel Lanigan, and husband of Mary Gwyneth Lanigan, of Mardy, Glamorgan. He served with 3rd Parachute Battalion and took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.

Private Lanigan died on 8 March 1943, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Tabarka Ras Rajel War Cemetery, Tunisia.
