Trooper James S Henderson

Trooper James Spence Henderson, son of William and Frances Henderson, of Wallasey, served with 6th Airborne Armoured Recce Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps. He took part in the Normandy campaign, during Op Overlord, and was severely injured during the campaign.

Trooper Henderson died of wounds in the UK on 21 December 1944, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Rake Lane Cemetery, Wallasey.
