Captain James Marriott

Captain James Marriott served with the 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, Ox and Bucks Light Infantry and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.

Capt Marriott died on 10 June, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Herouvillette New Communal Cemetery, Herouvillette, near Caen, Normandy.
