Staff Sergeant James Curley

Staff Sergeant James Curley was the son of John and Nellie Curley, and husband of Glenys Curley, of Mountain Ash, Glamorgan. He served with 23 Flight, G Squadron of 1st Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Staff Sergeant Curley died on 25 September 1944, aged 27 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
