Captain Horace A Platt

Captain Horace Anthony Platt was the son of Horace Frederick Platt and Edith Mary Platt (nee Zambra), of Woking, Surrey, and husband of Constance Margaret Platt. He served with HQ Troop, 1st Airborne Recce Squadron, Reconnaissance Corps and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Captain Platt died on 23 September 1944, aged 30 years old. He is now buried at Enschede Eastern General Cemetery, Overijssel, Netherlands.
